*Twirl

My hair is such a hassle to handle!
*throws hands into the air*
I think I'm not supposed to blow-dry 'em.
But I just did.
So instead of the original princessy, dolly look,
I think I've successfully but horrifically morphed into...
an obasan -_-

Ok, maybe that is a lil too over-dramatic,
but honestly,
curls are more than a handful to handle.
It's so hard to get back that dolly look.
*twirls hair frantically*

Realized I haven't been talking about what I've been up to recently.
There's the jazz gathering we had :)
At ootoya!
Didn't capture many pictures,
but I like the group picture that we took.
With a lil time at hand,
I decided to play ard with the picture using effects =D

We haz Xmas Hats! Hohoho!! Merry Xmas my lovelies =D

And this is one that I really like:
SNOW!
Even though we don't have it in Singapore,
it doesn't mean we can't pretend we have 'em in Singapore!
This is such a pretty picture =)
But somehow, the boy looks like he's being photoshopped in.. =x
Must be cuz of the blue luminous light behind him.

Managed to catch Harry Potter 7 over the weekend too.
In a nutshell, HP7 is like an appetizer to the upcoming main dish of HP8.
It was pretty good generally,
but nothing too exciting as compared to the past few Harry Potter movies.
It's like.. there's not much storyline.
And there's no conclusion whatsoever.
The conclusion will only come in HP8.

The best thing about the whole movie (to me),
lies in watching Emma Watson.
She's super gorgeous and she can act really well!
The first thing which struck me when she first appeared on the screen was:
"She has grown up! But so pretty!"
And in terms of acting, she really outshone the other 2 boys.
But now that I've caught HP7, I can't wait for HP8 to be out! =)

With Monday gone, I hope the blues will go away too.
Well, at least the lovely LB launch cheered me up today ;)
lol.

Curls

I think I've just done the most adventurous thing ever with my hair.
Approximately 15-20 cm of my hair has been chopped off,
and curls have just replaced the straight (slightly messy hair).

I'm having some pangs of regret alr

ah, the last photo I had of my long mane.
That was just 2 days ago at Ootoya,
where pals were guffawing over my kids meal. lol.

oh well. It's good to try something new, isn't it ;)

Accidentally in Love (:

*Updated with massive photo overload*

USS turned out to be more fun than expected!
Even though spending 9 hours to walk around totally killed my knees,
I feel really thankful for the lovely weather and the awesome company :)

Welcome to USS Land of Far Far Away! (:

Honestly, I'm at quite a loss on how to start..
We've more than 150+ photos combined,
and if I were to just randomly slot photos into this post,
I think it won't capture the whole essence of USS properly.
So in my attempt to be abit more organized,
I shall organize my pictures according to the different segments of USS.

------

First up, it shall be my personal favorite - Madagascar!
*iliketomoveitmoveyouliketomoveitmoveit*

Madagascar seems to be the least daunting and happiest place in USS.
And I really like the colorful and lively nature of its whole atmosphere.

The ride was mainly the animals' carousal, but it was good enough (:

Psst, I think the penguin mascot liked me (:
hahah! I'm just basing it on how the penguin lets me hug it.
I had told my penguin about hugging it before I did so, but poor jess didn't tell hers!
And her penguin walked away, only to have us pull it back for the pic. lol!

------

Next up, we have the Ancient Egypt!
*where the Mummy Returns*

We took the Revenge of the Mummy ride at the very start of our USS trip.
Lets just say it wasn't too pleasant. lol!
Note: I'm not a roller-coaster person.
But apparently B and Hk thought it wasn't that thrilling.

Ooh, I absolutely love the Treasure Hunter ride! (even though it's a kiddy ride :P)
But for the Revenge of the Mummy ride,
I was practically hiding my face and making myself as small as possible.
So, in actual fact, I don't know much about the ride.
I heard scary hollers and screeches,
but they suffice to make my heart pump like mad.
*shudders*

I like the photos where we climb up the stone statues to take pictures.
Well, the boys helped Jess & I to go up of course.
Luckily no one came to chase us down! lol!

------

The Lost World Jurassic Park is uppp next!
*rawrsssss*

There were quite a few attractions in the Lost World itself.
One which I must mention is the Canopy Rider.
It seems innocently harmless enough, but I swear it's scarier than the Mummy's ride!
Cuz B and I were seated back facing the front,
it's damn scary cuz we don't know what's in front of us!
Then our legs were dangling in mid air,
and the whole ride was jerky and very very fast!
Even though it lasted a mere minute, I felt like it was eternity.
Screaming and screaming, I was so freaked out at the end of the ride ):
To think we queued so long for it!
The only consolation is that B and Hk thought it was pretty good.

Rapid waters was kinda boring,
Initially, I was super scared cuz the attendant told me it's a plunge abt 3 storeys high.
But turn out that there was only a small plunge at the end,
the rest was smooth sailing enough.
There was a part whereby we were in pitch black,
and roars of dinosaurs could be heard.
But that was still alright I guess.

The WaterShow was really good.
The best show we caught in the whole of USS.
Shall not spill the contents lest I spoil it for anyone who hasn't visit.
But it's a must watch for anyone who visits USS (:

Ok! Now to the Land of Far Far Away!
*dumdeedeedum*

We were getting ready for the Shrek 4D Adventure show (:

The boys took the Enchanted Airways ride and deemed it to be boring.. lol!
So much so that they happily posed to be yawning in the picture.

Shrek 4D Adventure was decent (:
The seats rocked, water splashed unto our faces, tinkerbell waving her wand in our faces.
The audience were visibly very much entertained by these 4D effects.
For me, I was more than thankful for the aircon after so much walking.

Oh! After the 4D show, an attendant was ushering people to watch the Donkey Show!
Guess what, Jess and HK got married in Donkey's chapel (:
Look at the above picture of them in the big screen again. lol!
What happened was that there's a real person holding the mic and talking to the audience,
even though it's only shown as Donkey on the screen.
So Donkey was randomly picking people amongst the audience,
and Jessica got called up to answer a few questions like:
"How old are you? Who's that beside you? How long have you two been together"
and the best part was:
"You guys are not married yet?!"
So Donkey proceeded to marry them in the presence of all of us as witnesses!
What a surprise to our dearest bday girl! lol!

Hollywood Time!
*ooh, it's the lights, action, hollywood!*

The three ladies in pink were performing to the song "Candyman" =D
Memories of us dancing Candyman came into mind instantly,
and I was skipping/dancing down the street as that song played on.

------

Now moving on to the Misc segment where we took random pictures as we walk ard (:

The Battlestar ride which is not open yet.
*a good thing though, I think I'd die if I go on this ride*

My fav pic (:

I tried 4 different effects and asked B to choose..

In the end, we decided on none of the 4!
Decided that this gives the most vintage and best feel (:
Fooling around

I was really dangling just above the waters! lol!

Attempt at emo-shot

2nd attempt at emo-shot

lol! This is random, but thought this Betty Boop cushion was really cute (:

Our lunch!!!!
Actually, come to think of it..
Spending $66 on the ticket is pretty alright as we were given vouchers!
$5 voucher for any meal in USS restaurants, and $5 retail voucher as well.
We got our lunch at 50% off!
And we bought Cadbury chocolates at 20cents each only (:
(after using the vouchers, of course)

The candy tree outside Candylicious store (:

Us!

And before we know it,
9 hours has gone past..
We all had aching legs,
but aglow with happy hearts (:
It's nice to feel like kids again in this place.
It was definitely a great day to remember (:
