Happy as a lark

I'm on leave today (finally!), and I just went on a shopping frenzy. lol!
Haven't shopped ever since I came back from Hk.
Went to try on more gowns at the bridal shop in the morning,
and managed to secure 2 lovely gowns for the pre-wedding shoot.
Finally, I'm satisfied with my selection of gowns for the shoot.
All along, there was this bugging feeling that my gowns were too similar to each other.
After today's selection, I felt that my initial gut feel was right.

One important lesson to all brides-to-be:
Don't choose your gowns simply because they are awfully pretty (they are all so damn pretty, aren't they?)
The first thing to do is to finalize your photoshoot locations, then find the suitable / perfect gowns.
But if you happen to fall in love at first sight with a particular gown,
do think about which photoshoot location would best bring out the style of the gown.
Nonetheless, it's not easy to choose 4 - 8 out of hundreds of gowns.
So my take is, choose your locations first. lol.

After settling the bridal gowns, it was shopping time at Vivocity!
Managed to get this lovely cobalt blue dress from Zara,
a floral peplum top, and white shorts from Bysi (:
Feeling totally awesome and happy right now (:

And since I've some time at hand before I head for dinner with the family,
I'm going to upload some photos from the Hk trip!
Boy, it sure brings back fond memories of the 4 days trip.

More photos next time! (:

May is going to be over!

It's been a super longgg hiatus I know (:
Work has been crazily hectic,
and I have been burying myself in work for the past 2 months.
The end result was pretty satisfying, but the entire experience is bitter sweet.
Looks like it's really time to sit down and really reconsider my options.

On a lighter note,
Hong Kong was fabulous :D
This has to be one of the best memories ever.
But I guess I'll not be returning to HK anytime soon anymore!
It gets boring after 2 trips there.

Realized I haven't been taking photos of anything else but food,
so here we go..
Food makes the world go round!
And they make me recall good memories (:

This was the brunch set I got at Bukit Timah Saddle's Club.
Looks super awesome, doesn't it?
I seem to have this penchant for brunch sets.
C'mon, who can resist such lovely eggs!

Cheese Lobsters at Concorde Hotel!
This was a little disappointing cuz the cheese taste was too overpowering.
But anyhow... I think Concorde's Seafood buffet was really worth every penny.
There are 6 varieties of crabs for you to order,
and you can order as many as you like (:
The steamed crab, and chilli crab were the best options for the night.
Butter crab, black pepper were huge letdowns.
Had gone with the colleagues for a good feast before work swarmed us. lol.
Such fun it was (:

My favourite salad on earth! Watami Salad!
I simply can't get over the fact that it's such as simple dish,
yet so distinctively different from all other food I've eaten.
It's the first salad that gets me craving for it. lol!

Din Tai Fung Prawn Fried Rice
Need I say more for this (:

oh man, I feel like such a glutton.
And I ate at this Old Hong Kong restaurant at Novena today.
The custard bun with egg yolk is to die for.
I think I'm getting hungry just thinking of it.
Ok. I shall stop thinking of food already!
