Day 1 in Hong Kong!

First Trip to HK!
Was so excited that I couldn't slp during the 4 hours flight.
Honestly speaking, I was having the jitters. lol.
Here's us at Changi's Departure Area, all ready to board our plane at 6.30am.

This photo below is taken when we were reaching Hong Kong.
The sunrise is so pretty (:

Upon reaching Hong Kong, and clearing all the customs,
we did all the admin things first.
We bought the MTR Pass, Disney 1 day pass & Dining coupon and my SIM card (:
Then proceeded to lock our luggages up in Arrival Hall, and off to Tung Chung Citygate Mall!

We took Bus S1 to Citygate Mall, and the ride was about 15 minutes.
Here's what we saw upon arrival :D

Shopping in Citygate Mall felt like a whirl to me.
It's all brands I like, and I don't know where to start! :D
But our fav had to be Coach and Kate Spade. hehe.

After a good 2 -3 hours shopping,
I got 2 Coach wristlets, and Jx got 1 Coach Tote for herself :)
We kind of concluded that the Coach outlet was better than Kate Spade.
Cuz Kate Spade's outlet didn't really carry alot of products,
and the offer wasn't really worth it.
Hehe, below are my 2 loots after 20% and 30% discount respectively
(but neither are mine. hehe)

Thereafter, we headed back to airport to pick our luggages up,
and took the shuttle bus back to our hotel.
This shuttle bus doesn't just cater to our hotel, but rather a few hotels.
So the first stop was at this very glamorous hotel where 2 korean girls dropped off.
I think it was L'Nina Hotel or something along that line.
Then we were praying ours would be decent too.
But the bus driver dropped us at this car garage lookalike place,
and we were like "what?! this is our hotel?" lol!
But he pointed us to a nearby direction, and we lugged our luggages over.
Thankfully, the hotel looks like how I've seen in pictures
(and not some ulu car garage lookalike place).

The staff from Cosmo Mongkok Hotel were really really really very nice.
There was this staff called Sophia Jung who can speak several languages,
and besides giving us a really warm reception,
she gave us a short introduction to Hong Kong's attractions and what's nearby. :D
The bellboys were also really prompt to handle our luggages,
and brought them up very fast.
I guess this boutique hotel really focuses alot on excellent customer service.
No wonder it's gaining so much buzz online :D

After oohing and ahhing in our room, we took the hotel's free shuttle to Kowloon MTR.
From there, we took the MTR to Causeway Bay :D
Upon reaching, we scouted around for the Toilet Cafe for our dinner plans.
Alas, the restaurant had shut down. All across Hong Kong :(
Being terribly hungry, we just settled with any food.
There was this Japanese Curry Place at Causeway Bay Sogo, so we settled with that.
We practically wolfed down our food. haha.

Thereafter, we just shopped around Causeway Bay Sogo,
and even got to check out the Sasa that's opposite Sogo :)
Guess what, we found Hui Lau Shan at nearby as well :D
That was indeed the happy food of the day; Mango Sago Dessert.
It was super yummy :D

Here's the pretty bracelet I got for my aunt from Sasa!
I can't remember if I got masks from Sasa on Day 1,
but I did get them for use in HK cuz the air was so dryyy. lol!

We went back to hotel, tired but satisfied (:
That spells end of Day 1 for us!
Day 2 - Tsim Sha Tsui will be up soon! :D
